Born from a collaboration between pianist Jason Anderson and myself, this jazz composition was inspired by the seasonal change in Walthamstow, North London, at the time this album was recorded.
The piece is comprised of many improvised sections supported by a 'head' section which regularly returns to the same motif.
I felt a strong desire to include a jazz composition on the album, in order to link this otherwise seemingly random collection of pieces. I believe they all contain an underlying jazz character.
